Statement of Faith

  • Bradford Christian Academy affirms a biblical philosophy of life that places Christ at the center of all reality.
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God. (II Tim 3:16)
  • We believe in the Trinity: One God eternally existing in three Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Mt 28:19, Mk. 1:9-12)
We believe that God created humanity by a direct act, and in His image with dignity, value, and worth.
  • We believe that humanity, although created good, yielded to temptation through willful disobedience, becoming fallen, sinful, separate from God, and incurring physical and spiritual death. (Gn 1:1-27, Gn 2:17 Gn. 3:6, Rm 5:12-14).
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles during His earthly ministry, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. (Jn 10:30, Mt. 1:18-23, Hb 7:26, Acts 2:22, 2Cor 5:21, ICor 15:4, Acts 2:33, Lk 21:27)
  • We believe that God provides great grace in His redemptive plan. Though we are sinful, we can be held blameless in His sight, receiving salvation through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ. (Lk 13:3, Rm 10:9)
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life, growing in holiness and maturing in faith. (Rm 8:13, 12:1-2, 2Cor 7:1)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.
  • We believe in the reality of Heaven and Hell. (Jn 5:21, 28, 29)
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. (Jn 17:21 -23)
