The Ann Hasseltine Scholarship (High School)

Ann Hasseltine (Judson) grew up in Bradford, Massachusetts and became the first woman missionary leaving this country to serve God on foreign soil. Her commitment to living out her faith in service to others was formed during her youth. Inspired by her lifelong service to Christ in His kingdom, the Ann Hasseltine Scholarship Program enables high school students to develop purposefully their potential as leaders and scholars.
The Ann Hasseltine Program provides opportunities in mentorship, small groups, and leadership development projects to promote students’ understanding of their leadership gifts and how to be good stewards of these gifts. Hasseltine scholars seek to be faithful stewards of the gifts God has given them, returning to the community an energetic enthusiasm and passion for learning and service. Students selected for this honor are expected to take leadership roles in the BCA community. Students must strive for and maintain high academic achievement to remain in the Hasseltine Scholarship Program.
Bradford Christian Academy selects high school students for the Hasseltine Scholarship who demonstrate a sincere desire to develop leadership skills. Most recipients are incoming freshmen, however, exceptional students transferring from other schools may also be considered.
