College Guidance
Today’s colleges seek students who exceed minimum expectations, who are well rounded, and who can think critically and creatively.
As BCA builds its high school program through 12th grade, we are implementing programs and services to help students gain admission into the college of their choice. Our goal is to help students and parents negotiate the college selection and admission process equipped with all the information they need to make wise decisions.
When students reach tenth grade, BCA faculty meets with students and parents to form a college plan. We identify each student's talents, interests, and competencies and discuss appropriate colleges and universities with each institution’s admissions criteria. BCA will review the plan with the student each semester.
BCA will also host college preparation workshops for families, bringing in guest speakers to instruct on issues such as preparing for standardized tests and college financing strategies.
